“Walk in as a child, walk out with a dream job”. This the promise with which the IEM Group, which runs the Institute of Engineering & Management in Sector V has started a school in Salt Lake. “New York Public School”, built in a four-storeyed building in GE Block started its admissions from the month of April. The school wants to be present in every step of a student’s way starting from playgroup to post-graduation. The school has applied for ICSE affiliation and is now admitting students from lower nursery to Class V. With the parent institution imparting knowledge on technology, the school too wants to stress on technology from the very beginning. The school has tied up with Educomp, a leading smart school content developer. The school has started e-education and has provided tabs for each of the students. The students can take the tabs home like their text books and once they promoted to the new class, they will have to submit their old tabs and get a new one instead.
The classes are furnished both with green boards for the chalk-and-talk sessions and a white board which is linked to the teacher’s tab displaying its screen; and would also be connected to the projectors. With such extravagant facilities, the school plans to impart the best knowledge to their students which will help them in their future.
