Times NIE School Buzz reports events at various city schools:
- Prabhu Dayal Public School: Prabhu Dayal Public School Shalimar Bagh, organised a three-day event ‘Mathemagic 2015’. On Day one, Maths Society showcased the origin of mathematics in early civilisations with the barter system, counting and shapes assembly, followed by the inauguration of a maths exhibition.
- Bal Bharati Public School: The interact club of Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura organised a Blood Donation camp as a part of their commitment to community service. Enthusiastic parents of the primary and Montessori departments and members of the staff contributed generously to the noble cause.
- Ramakrishna Sr. Sec. School: Ramakrishna Sr. Sec. School, Vikas Puri, in view of the national wide campaign against pollution to protect the environment, conducted several activities to fulfil the mission of the campaign. Class XI and XII students held a rally in which they educated the masses about various ways to protect the environment.
- Amity International School: A team of 12 pistol and rifle shooters from Amity International School, Vasundhara. Sector 6, competed with 3000 shooters from 15 states in the first CBSE National Shooting Championship.
- Himalaya Public School: Student Mohit Agnihotri of Himalaya Public School, Rohini, won a silver medal in 10m Air Rifle Youth Men (ISSF), team and bronze medal in 10m Air Rifle junior men (ISSF) in the second sports craft shooting championship 2015 among 6000 participants at the national level.
