Times NIE School Buzz reports events at various city schools:
- Presidium School: Presidium School, Ashok Vihar witnessed its annual sports day 2015-16 in December. Renowned athlete and recipient of Arjuna Award declared the event open. As the clubs paraded past the guests, displaying the best of their coordination and discipline they were adjudged for their abilities by an esteemed panel of judges.
- Sri Guru Nanak Public School: Sri Guru Nanak Public School, Adarsh Nagar celebrated its annual sports meet at the Chhatrasal stadium. The school choir presented a welcome song. The event was declared open by the guest of honour, the municipal councillor of Adarsh Nagar.
- Mount Abu Public School: Principal of Mount Abu Public School, Sec-5, Rohini has been selected as the member of the Governing body of CBSE.
- Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School: To commemorate its 25thyear, St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh organised the international Friendship Week. A group of 47 students and teachers from Denmark, France and New Zealand and two other branches of the host school participated in the event.
- Greenfields School: Greenfields School, Safdarjung Enclave celebrated the Maths week. The primary wing students participated in various activities and competitions such as tambola with a twist, maths quiz, puzzles, creating scenery using geometric figuresetc.
