Times NIE School Buzz reports events at different city schools:

  • KIIT World School: KIIT World School, Pitampura was conferred with two awards-The cosmopolitan School award and the Best School in exchange programme and cultural activities and the Nalanda School Award for best academic pedagogy and Alumina passed out in the last five years. School Principal received the awards from Kiron Kher and Sushil Kumar.
  • Flora Dale Sr. Sec. School: Flora Dale Sr. Sec. School, Dilshad Garden celebrated its 28th annual function at Yamuna Sports Complex, Vivek Vihar. The students of the school presented varieties of colourful programmes covering all the salient features of Indian Culture.
  • Saffron Public School: Saffron Public School, Faridabad hosted the first founder’s day carnival in the school ground to commemorate the memory of their founder chairman. The festival was inaugurated and declared open by the secretary cum manager of the school. The cultural show put up by the students kept the audience spellbound.
  • GD Goenka Public School: GD Goenka Public School, Dwarka, hosted the annual day in the month of December. The entire programme was revolved around the theme ‘AKS-A Reflection.’ The school choir enthralled the audience with a soulful rendition of the invocation song.
  • Gurukul-The School: Gurukul-The School, Ghaziabadhas been endowed with first prize in the best infrastructure category. School Principal received the honour on behalf of the Gurukul fraternity at a special ceremony graced by Madhur Bhandarkar, Kiron Kher, Sushil Kumar, etc.
  • Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School: St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh was awarded with ‘The Hogwart School Award (Gold)’ for the overall performance in every field. The school also won ‘The Colosseum School Award for best drama, dance, amphitheatre and cultural activities.
