Times NIE School Buzz reports events at various city schools:
- GD Goenka Public School: GD Goenka Public School, Sector 22, Rohini, had organised its annual interschool art festival ‘Eclectika 2015’. Featuring more than 25 schools of Delhi/NCR, the event saw students participating in three categories and various art events ranging from oil pastel composition, folder design and decoration, poster designing, board game designing, caricature, murals and lamp designing.
- RS Jr. Modern School: RS Jr. Modern School, Humayun Road, had organised a sports meet for juniors. The events included a drill, which was an example of coordination, gymnastics displaying a fusion of agility and flexibility of the body and a host of races. The event was attended by grandparents.
- Ryan International School: Ryan International School, Sector 25, Rohini, received the bronze ‘Hogwarts School Award’ for overall performance in every field. The school also received the ‘Kautilya School Award’ for best school in innovative teaching methodology.
- DAV Public School: DAV Public School, Dwarka has been recognised as a global leader in successful integration of technology with teaching and learning. The school has been selected by Microsoft as a 2015-16 Microsoft Showcase for transforming its learning environment suing mobile and cloud technology.
- KR Mangalam World School: KR Mangalam World School, GK-II staged a theatrical presentation, Hare Krishnan, in the school amphitheatre. The tiny tots presented a blend of art, music, dance and drama depicting various tales of Lord Krishna’s life.
