All secondary school teachers would need to be versatile in their capabilities to be able to teach all grades from 6 to 12
Diploma Programme (DP) Grades 11 and 12 :
DP Coordinator: with at least 4 years of continuous experience in the position.
Subject Teachers : English (Language & Literature HL/SL), Mathematics (HL/SL/Studies), Chemistry(HL/SL), Physics(HL/SL), Biology(HL/SL), ESS(SL), History(HL/SL), Geography(HL/SL), Business & Management(HL/SL), Economics(HL/SL), Computer science(HL/SL), Theatre(HL/SL), Visual Arts(HL/SL), Language teachers : French, Spanish, Mandarin, German, Hindi, English.
Middle Years Programme (MYP) Grade 6 to 10:
Subject Teachers: English – Literature, Chemistry, Physics, History, Design.
Additional Position: Learning centre head, Teaching Librarian, Lab. Technician (for all sciences), Music (Western/Indian, vocal and instrumental), Swimming coach, Placement counsellor.
Primary Years Programme (PYP) Grade 1 to 5 :
Class teachers: Language, Mathematics, Sciences and Social Studies.
Additional Positions: Specialist teachers for Music, Theatre, Fine Arts, French and Spanish.
Qualifications : Graduate/Post Graduate/Doctoral degrees in relevant subject. A degree in education would be a distinct advantage. PYP/MYP/DP certified applicants will be preferred.
