The Newtown School invites vacancies for the following:
- Headmistress: Candidates must be trained graduates or post graduates with sound knowledge of the Primary and the Pre-primary level curricula. Must have a pleasant personality with excellent communication and administrative skills. Preference shall be given to candidates with 5-7 years’ experience as a Headmistress or a Coordinator in a reputed English medium School.
- Coaches: Candidates with specialization in Swimming/Squash/Badminton/Yoga. Must hold B.P.Ed. / M.P.Ed. Preference shall be given to candidates with 3-5 years’ experience in a reputed English medium School and to those who have played at the State level or higher.
- Teaching positions:
ͦ Pre-Primary Teachers: Young female graduates with TTC or Montessori training.
Candidates with 2 years’ experience in a similar profile will be preferred.
ͦ Pre-Primary Teachers: Young, female, B.Ed. graduates. Candidates with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar profile will be preferred.
ͦ Subject Teachers: Trained graduates or post graduate teachers of English, Mathematics, Science, Bengali, French and Computer Science. Candidates with 5-10 years’ relevant experience will be preferred.
ͦ Co-Curricular Teachers: Music, Dance, Art & Craft with relevant qualifications are required. Candidates with minimum 3-5 years’ relevant experience will be preferred.
